Launch Party brochure.
Published: April 2001

Starting this charity is one of the most meaningful things we've ever done. It is one hundred percent a labor of love. With that said, we want
to thank everyone that has helped to make tonight possible. Many thanks to FHM, Vynyl, Mani's Bakery and Hair Outlaws for sponsoring
our first official launch party and putting their faith in us and in such a worthy cause. Thanks to Myreon Hodur at Armstrong Hirsch Jackoway
Tyerman & Wertheimer, our lawyer, who took time out of his busy schedule to educate us in 501(c)(3)'s and file that much dreaded paperwork!
Thank you also to Kaufman Bernstein Oberman Tivoli & Miller, LLC for managing the finances of the organization.

Thanks to our event hosts this evening, including Jillian Barberie, Philip Bloch, Enrique Iglesias, Tangi Miller, Michelle Phillips, Jaime Pressly,
Jeff Probst, Simon Rex, Seann William Scott, Ryan Seacrest, Kevin Smith, Justin Walker and Dr. Steven Zax, for lending their names and services
to this evening's festivities.

A very special thanks to Nancy Bashir, who is our #1 advisory board member and primary lifesaver! Thank you Nancy for sparking the idea of
Animal Avengers and agreeing to selflessly go to the pounds everyday and tackle their toughest cases. This leads us to thanking Nancy's
family for allowing her to do what she does and supporting her every move.

Thank you to the rest of our advisory board for all of the hours and days they have donated to making this night as entertaining and educational
as possible. This includes Panters Sarah, Sara Jaye Weiss & Creative Crisis Management, Perception Public Relations, LLC, Holly Wiersma,
Ali Foreman, Judy Dixon and especially The Eventive Group, for keeping things calm and organized, as we discovered throwing a party was a
lot more work than we thought!

Thank you to everyone that donated their products, services or signature to make tonight a success. Your contributions are more valuable than
you can ever imagine.

Most of all we want to thank everyone for coming tonight! It's your concern and generosity that will make us successful in saving helpless lives
for many years to come. Thank you, everyone...here's to all the animals of the world!!!
With Much Love & Gratitude,
Shannon Elizabeth & Joseph D. Reitman

Animal Avengers is a not-for-profit organization founded by Shannon Elizabeth and Joseph D. Reitman in February 2001. The organization was
inspired by a very sick dog names Sally who had been chained to a fence, starved to death and left to die. Rather than helping just this one dog,
we wanted to be able to help thousands! Animal Avengers' number one priority is animal rescue. Although Animal Avengers primarily focuses
on dog and cat rescue, it is dedicated to helping any animal in need.

We decide to form Animal Avengers because of the deep love that we have for animals and the profound non-tolerance that we have for animals
in pain and danger. We needed a way to get more animals, primarily dogs and cats, off the streets and into loving homes. In addition to the streets,
Animal Avengers will save animals in shelters that are at-risk from euthanasia or extended warehousing. The focus is on animals that we feel would
be loving, caring house bests, but just aren't the cutest, youngest or fluffiest ones at the pound. These pets need what we call "detailing". People
routinely ignore the animals that are not perfect. Maybe all an animal needs is a good grooming, a little medicine for a cough or infection, or most
commonly... Love. This is where we step in. We truly believe that the best pets in the world are the ones that have been rescued. They know
how lucky they are!

We have teamed up with an amazing lady named Nancy Bashir. She has been rescuing dogs and cats in this capacity for many years now, and is
excellent at matching pets with potential owners. Nancy has children and pets of her own, which have proven to provide a good testing ground
for her rescues to observe how they interact in different environments. Our initial desire is to raise funds to enable her to continue her work; but
on a bigger scale, we would love to eventually expand and have a large piece of land and a center that is a fully operational rescue and placement
facility, with a full time staff. Our very own no-kill shelter!

If you or anyone you know wants to volunteer or help in some capacity, or needs help themselves with an animal, we can be contacted through
our web site at www.animalavengers.com. Thank you so much for taking the time to learn a bit about Animal Avengers and we look forward to
working together to save lives!
