On Sunday, September 23rd, 2001 Animal Avengers participated in The Best Friends Pet Adoption Festival at The Page Museum at The La Brea Tar Pits. The event brought together 45 local humane organization and was free to the public. There were hundreds of adoptable dogs and cats of all ages, shapes and sizes looking for new homes.
